Larissa has a masters in nonprofit management from Brandeis University's Heller School for Social Policy and Management and a bachelors in communications with a minor in women's studies from Salem State University. She is a recent graduate of the LAX Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy and is a volunteer counselor on the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center hotline in Los Angeles. Larissa has also worked with women in recovery for over 30 years.
Prior to joining Crossroads, Inc., Larissa was the executive director of the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing (MASH). MASH assists people in their journey of recovery from substance use disorder to live in safe high quality sober housing. While at MASH, Larissa was instrumental in expanding services for people in recovery and was the state representative for sober housing.
Prior to MASH, Larissa was an economic development manager at the Massachusetts' finance and development agency (MassDevelopment). She managed a 9 million dollar workforce grant that provided job training to young people in rural communities. Larissa began her career as the executive director of the National Police Accountability Project and worked with families and victims of police abuse.
